MENU

Our podcast is published as both VIDEO and AUDIO and is syndicated to an audience of around 100,000 and growing.

We record “live to tape” meaning we will record, but will only contain minor edits if something major presents a need.

The Entrepreneur Interview Series

This is one of our favorite podcasts where we get to meet entrepreneurs from all industries and all over the world!

Guest interview spots focus on how the business owner has grown their business. This podcast is not focused on your product or service, although we do touch upon those as part of your business and growth.

I ask quests questions related to WHY they started the business, and how it’s grown over the years (including any pandemic-related pivots); what their biggest marketing struggle was when they started; what they wish someone had told them before they started about being an entrepreneur.

Then I ask each guest to share one (or two) actionable tip for the audience (entrepreneurs on track for 7-figures and beyond). This tip can be directly related to the guest’s business, or to entrepreneurship in general. I tease this tip at the beginning of the podcast, so I do ask you beforehand what general tip you will be sharing (a title for it).

The guest gets a chance to ask me a question – either about marketing, or some have asked interesting questions about me.  AMA. Although this isn’t required but is a chance for you to get a bit of free marketing advice if needed.

If you are seeking a guest appearance where you primarily talk about your product or service instead of an interview of how you’ve grown your business,, we may add these soon, so please check back later.

Is this your first time guesting on a podcast?

That’s great – we love newbies! And we will be providing you some tips to help you deliver a professional presentation (while we’re still being casual).

Plus, we do make minor edits to the final video/audio … nothing major, but we remove long pauses, or if you stumble over your words you can redo that spot and we will cut the mistake.  Or if the dog starts barking or someone walks behind the camera half naked (yes, during the pandemic with everyone working from home it can happen lol).

While we don’t do any major editing on these interviews, we make sure that the final version is seamless for the audience, which means anything that could be distracting for them is handled when possible.

Recording & Syndication Overview

Please keep this in mind as we record – while people watching the video will be able to see facial expressions and gestures, people on the audio podcast will not, so you need to be sure you’re speaking to the audio audience while still maintaining a good video presence.

The video portion will be pushed out as a Facebook LIVE video on our Vicky Wu Marketing Facebook Page, our Facebook groups, as well as uploaded to our YouTube Channel. The audio portion will be posted on Soundcloud and then shared out via RSS feed with over 30 other major podcast platforms such as iTunes (now called Apple Podcasts) – and including Alexa: people will be able to say “Alexa, play Your Marketing Department on Apple Podcasts”.
